First of all, to answer the question of managing dreams we need to determine, what dream is.
Oxford dictionary says that dream is:
1. a series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person’s mind during sleep:
- a state of mind in which someone is or seems to be unaware of their immediate surroundings
2. a cherished aspiration, ambition, or ideal:
- an unrealistic or self-deluding fantasy
3. experience dreams during sleep:
- indulge in daydreams or fantasies about something greatly desired
According to definitions above, dreams are the results of mind activity and they stay in our minds. So they can not be achieved. But there is one more definition of dream in Oxford Dictionary:
4. contemplate the possibility of doing something or that something might be the case:
This definition shows that even if our dreams are results of our mind activity, they can be focused on the outer goals and possibilities. And the achievement of this goals and possibilities is the question if management. It does not mean, that dream management will give results, but the opportunity is always here.
